The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has handed over a-13 bedroom, one-storey building forfeited by the late Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh to the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
The Acting spokesman for EFCC, Mr Tony Orilade, in a statement in Abuja, on Thursday explained that the property was forfeited on the order of the court, following diligent prosecution of Badeh for money laundering and corruption by the commission.

The police command in Abia State has confirmed Wednesday’s alleged killing of a commercial motorcyclist, also called “okada operator” at Umuokereke Ngwa community near Aba.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Geoffrey Ogbonna told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday, that relatives of the deceased, known as Chimaobi Nwogu, reported the incident at the Eastern Ngwa Police Division.
Ogbonna said that investigation into the incidence had commenced to unravel the actual killers.
