More than four decades after, three physicists, are getting a recognition bigger than Nobel Prize, for developing the influential theory of supergravity.
Sergio Ferrara, Daniel Freedman and Peter van Nieuwenhuizen will receive in November a $3 million Special Breakthrough Prize in Fundamental Physics for their formulation of supergravity in 1976, Breakthrough Prize representatives have announced.

The Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mday arrested 29 men suspected to be involved in internet-related fraud.
THISDAY learnt that the suspects were arrested at Akoto Estate, Elebu area in Ibadan during an early morning raid carried out by operatives of the Commission.
It was gathered that the team had earlier conducted series of surveillance, working on strings of intelligence gathered on the activities of the suspected ‘Yahoo Boys’.
The preliminary investigation was found to be credible, leading to the sting operation.

More than five million people in Zimbabwe – about a third of the population – need food aid, with many coming close to starving, the UN says. The World Food Programme (WFP) has launched a $331m (£270m) appeal as the country battles the effects of drought, a cyclone and an economic crisis.
