Governor Seyi Makinde signing 2020 Appropriation

Oyo State Governor, Oluseyi Makinde on Monday revealed that the total amount of the budget passed by the Oyo State House of Assembly for the 2020 fiscal year is N213, 788,033,002.97.
Makinde, who stated this after signing into law the Oyo State Appropriation Bill for the 2020, said that the state legislature added N4, 985,060,124.97, adding, “Both capital and recurrent expenditure were increased by the House of Assembly compared to the budget proposal which we submitted”.

The Oloko Ruling House of Ibese, in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State on Monday, took to the streets to protest alleged imposition of an Oba on the community.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday met behind closed doors with the Chairman of the Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi, as well as the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Sen. Atiku Bagudu.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the president met separately with the two governors, with the first meeting with Fayemi at the president’s office.

Former Manchester United assistant manager, Steve Round, has joined Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
He confirmed to Sky Sports that he will become Arteta’s new assistant head coach.
Arteta was confirmed as the Gunners’ long-term replacement for Unai Emery, who was sacked last month.
